How do I prepare for my appointment?
Bring your medical history, current medication list, recent lab work, and referral documents. Fasting may be required for certain tests - our team will provide specific instructions when scheduling.
Is my visit covered by OHIP?
Most endocrinology services are covered by OHIP with a valid referral. Specialized tests and nutrition counseling may have additional fees. We'll discuss any potential costs before services are provided.
How long will my appointment take?
Initial consultations typically last 45-60 minutes, while follow-up appointments range from 15-30 minutes. Body composition analysis and nutritional assessments may require additional time.
